Medigrow Coega – Public / Private Farmers
Medigrow Coega – Our flagship production facility located in Gqeberha has partnered with an international buyer with extensive demand for hemp products.
In order for Medigrow Coega to achieve the targeted demand we need thousands of hectares of hemp production.
There are two ways to participate, either as a private grower or to participate in the Eastern Cape Government funded out-growers program.
Programs with the other provinces are in the negotiation stage.
Private Growers
Private growers are farmers already participating within the hemp industry, who has successfully grown and sold hemp within the local or international markets but still have land space available to grow directly for Medigrow Coega.
These farmers buy seeds that are specified by our international buyer directly from Medigrow Coega ( Pty) Ltd and will grow within the required guidelines and sign an off-take agreement.
Hemp Out-growers Program
New Entry farmers may also apply. If you require funding for seeds, need training and have a hemp permit, you can participate in the out-growers program of the Eastern Cape Province.
